‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ title song: Varun woos Alia splashing colours

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is scheduled to release on the occasion of Holi, so how can there not be a song celebrating the festival of colours! The makers today unveiled the title track of the movie, ‘Badri Ki Dulhania’, which is a peppy and colour Holi anthem.

The hook line of the song is reminiscent of the popular song ‘Chalat musafir moh liya re...’ from 1966 film ‘Teesri Kasam’, originally sung by Manna Dey. The new song has been rendered by Dev Negi, Neha Kakkar and Monali Thakur, while Ikka pitches in for rap portions. The song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi and the fun lyrics with sprinkle of English terms has been penned by Shabbir Ahmed.

The video is also colourful with lots of lighting decorations. Alia looks hot and effervescent in pink and yellow outfits as she and Varun, flaunting his toned abs in unbuttoned white shirt, match their steps. The ‘Student of the Year’ co-stars share and amazing on-screen chemistry.

The movie is a sequel to their 2014 film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhani’, but it will have an altogether different story. Produced under Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions and directed by Shashank Khaitan, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is set to release on March 10.
