Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s bundle of joy Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is going to turn one on December 20th and the Khan has planned a lavish bash at the Pataudi palace. Taimur will complete one very soon and he understands and responds to music and sound. Now-a-days, he enjoys listening to Christmas carols. Saif and Kareena have decorated their Bandra home for the upcoming festive season with much love and glitter.

Saif in interaction with DNA reveals, “We have put up a nice X’mas tree with some pretty ornaments and other decorations that children find appealing. Bebo, Taimur, and I love sitting around it listening to Christmas carols. I think he likes it.” Last year, the little munchkin was just about five days old on Christmas so he definitely couldn’t grasp a lot of things. However, from what Saif tells us, this year Taimur, who likes being photographed (according to daddy), is definitely a lot more happy with all the attention he’s been getting, especially during this time of the year. In fact, imagine if you get to see a pic of Taimur dressed as baby Santa this year? Now that’ll be one Christmas present have been longing for, isn’t it?

Taimur is turning one on December 20th and the doting father gifted his little one a car worth Rs 1.30 crore on Children’s Day. Talking about it, Saif Ali Khan said, “There is a baby-seat in the back of the car, so I think I will take Taimur out for a ride in it. He will get the first ride for sure.” Saif further added, “I think I’ll give him this car. Security is also very important and this car has a lovely baby-seat in the back and I am very excited, I think Taimur will love the colour, nice cherry red jeep. So, I have thought that I will keep this car for him.”

Taimur’s first birthday is going to be a family affair. Lately, during an event mom Kareena reveals the little one’s birthday plan.

During an event, when Kareena was asked how they are going to celebrate their son’s first birthday, she replied, "Well, it's going to be a family affair. It's not going to be a big Bollywood party like how everyone sees it. It's his first birthday and he should be with his family - his parents and his grandparents. It's going to be a small intimate thing."
