Karan Johar to launch 'Baahubali' actor Prabhas

The desperately awaited film ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is less than two weeks away from its release date. The phenomenal multilingual epic has brought immense fame and glory to its lead actors Rana Daggubati and Prabhas globally.

While Rana has already featured in a few Bollywood films, buzz is rife that Karan Johar, who is the distributor for the Hindi version of ‘Baahubali’, is planning to rope in the Telugu star for a project under his banner Dharma Productions.

According to a report in DNA, the details of the project will be revealed once ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ hits screens, and news is that the project will be directed by ‘Baahubali’ director S. S Rajamouli himself.

“Karan has been encouraging Rajamouli to do a Hindi film after Baahubali. They will team up to launch Prabhas in Bollywood,” the report quoted a source as saying.

However, there has been on official confirmation from either Karan Johar or Prabhas’ side. A report in indianexpress.com stated that when Prabhas was posed with the question of his Bollywood debut, the actor neither confirmed nor denied it. “One day I will answer that question,” said Prabhas.

Meanwhile, after giving almost five years to ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas has signed his next Telugu project with Sujeeth Reddy. The movie is likely to go on the floors after ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ releases.

‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, which also starred Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj, bagged the National Award among many other awards. The movie had concluded on a cliff-hanger leaving audience with a gnawing question as to why Kattapa killed Baahubali, the answer to which will be finally revealed on April 28 when ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ releases.
