‘Baaghi’ earns 38.58 crore in the opening weekend


Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff’s new release ‘Baaghi’ has spelled magic at the box-office. Released across 2750 screens in India and over 344 screens abroad on April 29, the film has managed to collect Rs 38.58 cr in opening weekend.

The film had a promising start with Rs 11.94 crore on its opening day and on the second day the film earned Rs 11.15 crore, totalling to Rs 23.07 cr in the first two days of its release. On Sunday, ‘Baaghi’ collected a whopping Rs 15.51 cr.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to twitter to share the opening collections of the film.

‘Baaghi’ two days collection suppressed the opening weekend box-office collection of Tiger Shroff’s debut film, ‘Heropanti’. It has also become the third highest opener of 2016, after Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ (Rs 19.20 cr) and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ (Rs 12.35 cr).
