‘Azhar’ song ‘Oye Oye’ reminds of Sangeeta Bijlani’s ‘Tridev’chartbuster

Emraan Hashmi starrer much awaited movie ‘Azhar’ has released a new song titled ‘Oye Oye’. The song is a recreated version of the chartbuster from Sangeeta Bijlani starrer blockbuster movie ‘Tridev’, which also starred Naseeruddin Shah, Sunny Deol and Jackie Shroff.

The new version has been sung by Aditi Singh Sharma and Armaan Malik and excellently recreated by DJ Chetas. The new song is as catchy as the original one composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.

The song features Nargis Fakhri sizzle the screen along with two other ladies and more dancers in the backdrop. Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai are shown watching the film sitting amidst the audience in a theatre. As Prachi appreciates the performance, Emraan displays uneasiness shifting in his seat.

‘Azhar’ is a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin whose character is essayed by Emraan in the movie. Prachi plays his first wife Naureen, while Nargis portrays the role of model-turned-actress Sangeeta Bijlani whom the cricketer fell in love with and married after divorcing his first wife.

Directed by Tony D’Souza and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, the movie will dwell on every aspect of Azharuddin’s life, including his marriages, divorce and the infamous match-fixing scandal.

‘Azhar’ also features ‘Bigg Boss 9’ winner Gautam Gulati and Lara Dutta. The movie is set to hit the screens on May 13.
