Ayushmann turns 31; Bollywood wishes him

Multi-talented Ayushmann Khurrana has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood with is unconventional looks, simplicity and consistent efforts. His stepped into the world of glamour after winning the reality show ‘MTV Roadies 2’ in 2004. After finishing his studies, the Chandigarh lad moved to New Delhi and became a Radio Jockey and then went to the city of dreams Mumbai to pursue his childhood dream of being an actor. But, before his big Bollywood break came his way, he worked as a Video Jockey for MTV and also hosted various television shows and award functions. In 2012 he debuted with Soojit Sircar’s National Award winning film ‘Vicky Donor’ in which he also composed and sung the popular number ‘Paani Da Rang’. Despite being a small-budget film, it was a critical and commercial success and established him in the industry.

Born on September 14, 1984, the amazing actor and singer celebrated his 31st birthday on Monday. Ayushmann’s colleagues and friends from the industry wished him on his special day.

His co-star from the critically acclaimed film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ Bhumi Pednekar took to Twitter and wished him, "Happy birthday @ayushmannk .I hope you keep entertaining us always. Have a killer crazy year AK."

Riteish Deshmukh wished him in Marathi style, for Ayushmann had played a Marathi character in the film ‘Hawaizaada’. "Bhau -wadhdivasachya happy subhechya @ayushmannk #HBD- have a great one," the ‘Bangistan’ actor wished him.

Producer-director and film editor Shirish Kunder also wished him, "Happy Birthday @ayushmannk! Much love."

Television’s most popular anchor Manish Paul wished his counterpart in his typical quirky way. "@ayushmannk happy birthday to the donor!!!have a blessed year ahead...mubarak to ur khaandan,paida hua hai ayushmann...hahahaha wah wah!!"

Singer Anmol Malik, daughter of veteran composer Anu Malik wished for a fantastic year for Ayushmann. "Happy birthday AK-47! @ayushmannk you're a gem of a person and I hope you have a fantastic year! Blaze on!!" she tweeted.

Ayushmann will be next seen in ‘Agra Ka Daabra’ starring Yami Gautam and directed by Soojit Sircar and produced by John Abraham, the team of his debut film.
