Ayushmann Khurana, Yami Gautam to star in music video by T-Series

Singer-actor and former VJ Ayushmann Khurana and actress Yami Gautam are collaborating once again for a romantic music video helmed by Amit Roy and produced by T-Series. The duo had made their Bollywood debut with Soojit Sircar’s romantic comedy ‘Vicky Donor’ in 2012.

The song titled ‘Yahin Hoon Main’ is composed by Ayushmann’s college friend Rochak Kohli with whom he also delivered the hit songs ‘Mitti Di Khusboo’ and ‘Paani Da Rang’. The romantic track has been shot in the picturesque Chail region of Himachal Pradesh.

Speaking about the music video, director Amit said, "It's a nostalgic song that plays out from Yami's point of view. Ayushman's playback is beautiful. I knew I had to direct the song the moment I heard it."

Amit further revealed, "I wanted to set the song against a romantic backdrop. It was a two-day schedule. We shot at a beautiful palace that was converted into a college campus and the cottages within its premises were shown as the houses the leads live in." He also added that the song will appeal to youngsters as well as elders of a certain vintage.

In the music video, Ayushmann and Yami are shown as college goers who grow into mature individuals. “While I think both of them can carry off any look, we had a lot of help from our stylists,” Amit added.

Ayushmann’s previous single ‘Mitti Di Khusboo’ featuring Bollywood actress Huma Querishi was also produced by T-Series.

The music label had recently released a remixed version of the popular song ‘Dheere Dheere Se’ from film ‘Ashiqui’ sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and featuring actors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, as a tribute to its founder the late Gulshan Kumar. Another music video of the song ‘Mainu Ishq Da Lagya Rog’ was also released which was sung by Gulshan Kumar’s daughter Tulsi Kumar and featured her sister and fashion desighner Kushali Kumar.

Meanwhile, Yami will be next seen in ‘Sanam Re’ and ‘Junooniyat’ both being produced by T-Series, while Ayushmann is collaborating with Soojit Sircar for ‘Agra Ka Dabra’.
