Ayushmann, Aditi wish Huma Qureshi on her birthday


Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi who turned 29 was wished by her industry friends and colleagues on her special day. Actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditi Rao Hydari, filmmakers Nikhil Advani and Abhishek Dogra were among those who tweeted their wishes for her.  

The ‘Vicky Donor’ actor wrote, “@humasqureshi happy bday Huma Q! Ab apne des waapas aa jao pls,” while Aditi Rao wished, “Happyyyyyy birthdaaaaaay @humasqureshi...” Filmmaker Milap Zaveri  posted, “Happy birthday @humasqureshi have a mazedaar (fun) day and a behtareen (great) year.”

The actress born on July 28, 1986 made her film debut as a supporting actress with Anurag Kashyap’s critically acclaimed film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ in 2012. Her first movie as lead actress was ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ opposite Kunal Kapoor. However, the film didn’t do well.

Huma’s role as a witch in the supernatural thriller ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ opposite Emraan Hashmi was critically acclaimed as well as her portrayals of characters in ‘D-Day’ and ‘Dedh Ishqiya’. She was last seen in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Badlapur’ which starred Varun Dhawan and her ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The actress is currently busy with her upcoming project, a remake of Hollywood film ‘Oculus’ in which her brother Saqib Saleem is also cast. She is also said to be a part of the biopic ‘Azhar’ starring Emraan Hashmi and has also committed for Sanjay Gupta’s gangster film ‘Mumbai Saga’.

Before venturing into films, Huma also did ad films opposite Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan and other commercials.
