Athiya Shetty turns to Bhansali’s to save her film career

Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty made Hero big Bollywood debut with Salman Khan production ‘Hero’ directed by Nikhil Advani. A remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 blockbuster of the same name, the movie starred Sooraj Pancholi opposite Athiya.

While Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab’s son has managed to grab a few offers that has come his way, Athiya is yet to sign a project.

In the meantime, Sooraj has featured in a single titled ‘GF BF’ opposite Jacqueline Fernandez, and will be next in Remo D’Souza’s upcoming project starring Ajay Devgn. There is also a buzz that his mentor Salman’s next project to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar will cast the actor.

Athiya, despite being tagged as a ‘fashionista’ and compared with the likes of Sonam Kapoor for her sartorial choices, has no new project in her kitty even after a long time after her debut. The lull in her career is bothering the pretty lady so much that she has turned to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for advice, according to a report in SpotboyE.

The report stated that Athiya met the acclaimed director at the latter’s office a few days ago. The duo spent a couple of hours chatting about movies and Athiya’s career.

Although there is no official confirmation from Bhansali’s office regarding it, it is said that Bhansali assured the ‘Hero’ actress that everything will be fine.

Now, only time will tell how far Athiya’s career gets a boost after the meeting.
