Ashish Chaudhary wins ‘Khatron Ke Khilladi 6’

Actor Ashish Chowdhry won the latest season of the fear factor show, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi- Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns’ beating finalists, Iqbal Khan, Sagarika Ghatge and Meiyang Chang.

“It is a surprise to me that I won. Throughout my journey on the show, I just focused on enjoying my tasks and making friends. I did not think about winning. I never came in elimination round. I feel I had a dream run on the show,” Ashish told after winning the title.

Ashish credits his win to his two twin daughters, born just a fortnight before he left for the show.

Ashish tweeted# When I actually won the trophy, I thought to myself, 'What a cute story for my children.' Ashish also praised his dearest wife for lending her support, “Normally any wife would say, "You are going away for two months leaving me with twins." But their mother supported their father. Also, they turned out to be so lucky for me. Their luck rubbed off on me”.

Ashish said that he would donate some part of the prize money to the charity, he supports, “To be honest, the prize money is not something like one would win in Kaun Banega Crorepati. It's a modest sum. I always believe that a certain percentage of money should go to charity. I am part of an NGO called Masoom. It's into night schools and we have got 32 night schools. The money will go to them so that I have their blessings for utilizing the remaining amount of money”.

Speaking about the stunts, the actor said, “I never thought I would win. I have a few limitations. I know how to act but I have never done stunts or been to dance classes. I have been a normal guy and I come from a very non-filmi family. Before this, I had never done bungee jumping, sky diving or any of those things. For me, this was something that would have given me an opportunity to do things I hadn't done before - some 'me' time. There would be no family, no friends, no makeup and no spot boys. I genuinely did it to enjoy it. Of course, there was a plus point that there was money (`25 lakh) coming in with it”.
