Aryan Khan to undergo surgery, papa Shahrukh to skip IIFA event

Fans might miss Shahrukh Khan’s performance this year at IIFA and the reason is varied. Firstly, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan injured his nose while playing football in college and secondly, around that period, King Khan would be busy promoting his upcoming film, Imtiaz Khan’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

Aryan, who is currently studying filmmaking at the University of Southern California, has injured himself quite badly during a football match and he requires immediate medical attention.

A source is quoted as saying, "Shah Rukh's son Aryan broke his nose while playing football at school. Aryan is already on medication, but the doctors have advised him to undergo surgery. SRK will be travelling abroad for that. It has been scheduled around the same time as the award function, and his priorities are very clear. The concerned father will obviously prefer being by his son's side."

Apart from this, Shahrukh will be busy promoting ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ set to release on August 4.

According to reports, Shah Rukh plays a tour guide, while Anushka plays a tourist. The film has been extensively shot in picturesque European locations, including Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Budapest, besides in Punjab and Mumbai.

Previously, there were reports about the movie being titled ‘Rahnuma’ with the tagline ‘Love guides you home’, then recently, rumours surfaced that a new title ‘Raula’, meaning ‘noise’ in Punjabi, has been chosen, and Shah Rukh had even joked about it. But now, the speculations surrounding the title has been put to rest.

‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, was previously slated to hit screens on August 11, but the date has been preponed to August 4, to cash in on the extended weekend owing to Rakshabandhan.
