Arunoday Singh to play villain in ‘Mohenjo Daro’

Hrithik Roshan has started the shooting of Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ in Bhuj and a new addition is heard. Arunoday Singh, who played one of the lead protagonists in ‘Jism 2’ has been signed to play a baddie in the film. Kabir Khan has already been signed to play a villain in the periodic drama and now Arunoday will play his son.

Reveals a source, "Arunoday plays Kabir's son in the film and will feature in action sequences with Hrithik. Ashutosh confirms the development, "We needed someone who was good looking but could evoke a sense of being fierce in order to play the young antagonist opposite Hrithik's character". Gowariker feels that Arunoday will "look more believable as Kabir Bedi's son on screen" and "perfectly suited the role."

Hrithik has shed weight to get into the role. "Hrithik will sport a leaner look in Mohenjo Daro and he had been following a strict workout regimen specially designed by his own trainer to make sure he is in shape to start the film", a source continued.

"He will have grueling action sequences in the film and had been undergoing tremendous training sessions for the same. He is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood and wants to make sure that the action scenes turn out brilliant", adds the director. Arunoday will also be seen doing some dare-devil action sequences. "The action scenes will have me and Hrithik going head to head with each other. I am very excited about shooting those portions", Arunoday continued.

"Moreover, the action stunts in Mohenjo Daro will be supervised by Hollywood stunt coordinater Glenn Boswell (of Matrix and X-Men Origins: Wolverine fame) which again gives me a different high altogether", he added.
