Arjun Rampal says not involved in Hrithik-Suzanne’s spilt
It’s shocking that Bollywood’s most cherished couple, Hrithik Roshan and his wife Suzanne part ways and it is even more shocking that Arjun Rampal’s name has been dragged in the break-up. It is said that Suzanne’s close association with Arjun created rift between the husband and wife but Arjun rubbishes the report and denies involvement in their separation.
However, Arjun Rampal issued a statement denying any involvement in the separation.
"It is very sad when friends close to you take a decision to separate. These are the hardest times for them and we must be sensitive towards this decision, rather than creating speculation and rumours. I read in the news, about the same time as you all, about my involvement in this marriage. It saddens me deeply that rumours become inevitable during celebrities going through such times. Mehr and I wish them only peace and love through these times, and support them as friends should, and we wish them and their families well, always."
A statement issued by the actor confirms, “Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year relationship. It is a very trying time for the entire family and I request the media and the people to grant us our privacy at this time,” says Hrithik,
Hrithik and Suzanne had a love marriage. It was not yet known the reason of their sepeartion. Hrithik and Suzanne had been married for the last 13 years and have two sons, Hrehaan 7 and Hridhaan 5.
Though break-up, Hrithik still believes in marriage. “I do
not wish this news to disempower my fans and the people about the institution
of marriage in any way. I am a firm believer in this institution and respect
and honour it at the highest level,” says the actor.
However, Hrithik is optimistic about starting life in a new way, “I thank my
fans for all the concern and prayers for my health. My treatment is going fine.
I should be able to resume my life in every way very soon,” he says.
"We are parents to two wonderful kids and our responsibility remains to protect and take care of them. Nothing can change that," said Sussanne, after the separation.
Suzanne said their separation is based on their "individual choices". "We are two individuals who respect and care for each other and have made our own individual choices," Sussanne said in a statement Saturday.
Like Hrithik, Sussanne too asked media to respect their privacy. She appealed, "appreciate if we are given our privacy in such a time"."Thank you for your warmth and concern for both of us and the family," she said.
