Arjun Kapoor trolled for hating Sridevi, dating Malaika

A social media user named Kusum who has Varun Dhawan's picture as her profile picture lashes out at Arjun Kapoor for hating his late second mother Sridevi and dating Malaika Arora Khan, who is a divorcee and 11 years older than him and has a teenager son.

The user tweeted, "You hate ur father's second wife bcoz your father left your mother, and now u r dating a woman who is 11 years elder to you and has a teenage son. Why double standards @arjunk26??"

Arjun replied, " I don’t hate anyone Kusum. We kept a dignified distance, If I did I wouldn’t have been there for my dad Janhvi & Khushi at a sensitive time... it’s easy to type & judge, think a little. Your @Varun_dvn s fan so I feel I should tell u don’t spread negativity with his face on ur DP."

After the actor’s justification, the user apologized for his tweet.                                                                       

Arjun responded saying, "It's okay, spread the love. The street dancer is watching you."

Varun Dhawan entered the conversation and wrote, "I glad apologise kusum its okay arjun is not upset lets just all live our own lives ak has a big heart like I always say I don’t want any of my fans to talk bad about any actors."Malaika and Arjun are said to be going strong. The couple walked hand-in-hand at the screening of ‘India’s Most wanted’.Arjun Kapoor commented on making his relationship with Malaika public, "We've come out because we feel the media has given us dignity. There's a certain understanding the media has... they've been respectful, kind, honest and decent about it. That is why I felt comfortable. You recoil when there's a certain "gandhagi" that comes with the territory. When purposely people irk you by saying, writing or asking things... there hasn't been any of that.
