Arjun Kapoor miffed with regional daily for disrespecting his late mom
The news article in Hindi wrote a sensational headline indicating that their news story is the reason why Arjun Kapoor’s mother ‘left’ him. The headline interpreted in English reads, ‘Now we know why Arjun's mother left him'.
The actor, who'd always been very close to his mother, was natuarally upset over the unsavoury and distasteful headline. He took to Twitter to express himself and wrote, “I don't normally react to what's written about me but for a man who's lost his mother I find this headline highly distasteful & insensitive.”
Mona Kapoor had succumbed to cancer in 2012, just days before the release of Arjun’s debut film 'Ishaqzaade'. Needless to say, the actor's grouse isn't at all unwarranted.
On the work front, Arjun will be next seen alongside his uncle Anil Kapoor in Anees Bazmee’s 'Mubarakan’. They will reprise their real-life relation of nephew and uncle on screen as well, and Arjun will be seen in double role of Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh.
Also starring Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty, ‘Mubarakan’ is slated to hit theatres on on July 28, 2017. The film is currently on floors.
