Arbaaz and Giorgia are going strong and the couple is speculated to enter into wedlock soon.

After 18 years of marriage, Arbaaz and Malaika Arora legally called it a quit in 2018.

The actor-filmmaker opened his heart on his divorce with wife Malaika Arora. Speaking to Good Times, he said, “Everything seemed fine but it crumbled. Things don’t work out, and it’s only fair that two people who want to take their life in their own hands will take that decision.”

Asked if he still believes in the institution of marriage and recommend it to others, Arbaaz said, “Of course, I would. This institution has gone on for hundreds and thousands of years. It’s like if you know that you’re going to die, you won’t stop living. Of course, the times are changing, even in the past people didn’t get married.”

Malaika Arora also opened her heart about her divorce with husband of 18 years, Arbaaz Khan. Malaika gets candid about her divorce at Kareena Kapoor Khan's radio show What Women Want, which airs on Ishq 104.8 FM.

"I think sab ki pehli yehi raai hai ki mat karna. Koi aapko nahi kahega ki, 'Haan, haan, please jayiye, kariye.' That's the first thing, ki aap soch samajh ke yeh decision lena. I went through the same thing," she said.

Malaika revealed that her family asked her to think things through even on the night before her divorce hearing. "Even the night before I got divorced, I had my family sit with me and ask me yet again, 'Are you sure? Are you 100 per cent about your decision?' So I think that was something I heard all along and rightly so. These are the people who worry and care so they will definitely say that," she said.
