Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Anushka Sharma shoots romantic song in Austria

Bollywood films have featured numerous romantic songs atop icy mountains. The trend which was started by king of romance Yash Chopra has influenced several other directors and filmmaker Karan Johar is the latest. It appears that his upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushikil’ which is being shot in Europe, will feature a romantic song in snowcapped mountain.

Actress Anushka Sharma who stars in the film opposite Ranbir Kapoor has shared an image on the social media on Monday, October 5 which appears to be from a song shoot. The image has her hand holding a corner of a red cloth, which appears to be of a chiffon sari in the backdrop of a snowy mountain. “Guess what’s happening here? Never thought I’d get to do this! #AeDilHaiMushkil,”  the ‘Bombay Velvet’ actress wrote alongside the picture.

The image instantly brings to mind several romantic songs in similar surroundings we have seen in the past in films like ‘Chandni’, ‘Kabhie, Kabhie’, ‘Fanaa’ and others, and song in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ will definitely refresh those moments.

Earlier, Anushka also shared another picture of her with celebrated designer Manish Malhotra. “Off to an early morning shoot in the stunning mountains of Austria with @ManishMalhotra sprucing up the glamour quotient,” she had written.

Manish is doing the costumes for the film and he had earlier promised to present Anushka in a brand new look with the film.

The film is being highly anticipated as Karan Johar is donning the hat of director after three years. Moreover, it also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Pakistani hunk Fawad Khan.

The film which is said to be a triangle ‘love and heart-break’ story will hit theatres on Diwali next year.
