Anushka Sharma to patch up with Virat Kohli?

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who broke-up at the beginning of this year, are back to talking terms. Anushka and Virat parted ways after a dispute over marriage. Virat had proposed marriage, but Anushka wanted to focus on her career. The ex-couple had even unfollowed each other on social media.

Now, the former lovebirds seem to have moved a little closer than they were some time back in their relationship, according to a report in Bollywood Life.

As per the report, Anushka has called up her ex-beau to congratulate him at his brilliant performance during the recently held Asia Cup T20 match between India and Pakistan. Virat had led team India to a five-wicket victory over the arch rivals in the match held on Saturday, February 27. The right-hander also received the Man of the Match awarded.

“Anushka called to congratulate Virat after his brilliant performance on field during the India versus Pakistan match,” a source close to the couple was quoted as saying.

Before their break-up, Virat had wanted to ring in Valentine’s Day with his ladylove. He had even opted out of the India-Sri Lanka Twenty-20 series to spend time with her. However, Virat was upset when Anushka didn’t pay any heed and preferred to carry on with her career. This led the couple to end their two-year-old relationship.

But, even after the split, it was Virat who attempted to mend the relationship. He reportedly got in touch with Anushka’s brother to win back his ladylove. And from Anushka’s gesture, it appears that his attempts are bearing fruit.

Now that Anushka has reached out to him, there is hope that the adorable couple reconcile and get back together.
