Ankita Lokhande not ready to marry Sushant Singh Rajput
Off late, report surfaced that Ankita Lokhande slapped her boyfriend and ‘Kai Po Che’ actor Sushant Singh Rajput over his back to back lip-locking with his co-stars in movies outside YRF’s studio but both the loved couple, Ankita and Sushant denied the report saying no such incident took place and media is just making stories out of nothing. Sushant said he is ready to get hitched but Ankita is not ready.
When asked about marriage, Sushant said, “I am ready, but Ankita is taking
time her time, may be by the end of the year or next year”
About the slapgate incident, Sushant said, That was a completely untrue
story that appeared in a tabloid. Both Ankita and I read it and laughed over
it. There's no truth to half of what you read”.
‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress too denied the report, "There is no truth
to it. It has not happened outside YRF as reported. It is absolutely wrong. I
can never ever slap Sushant," Ankita said.
While Sushant on his part said jokingly, "I do lot of things every day for which I deserve a slap but that has not happened unfortunately yet. Our relationship is quite sorted out... People like to spice it all."
Meanwhile, Sushant has replaced Hrithik Roshan in Shekhat Kapur’s ‘Paani’
and speaking about the same, the actor said, Hrithik Roshan is one of our
biggest superstars, I have been his fan for over a decade. I can't think of
replacing him. I gave an audition based on which I was taken on. The film goes
on floor next year and it feels great to be working with Shekhar Kapur who last
worked with Heath Ledger in Four Feathers”.
Sushant clear up about walking out of ‘Fitoor’, “I was supposed to shoot
for Fitoor this year and Paani was scheduled for next year, but when the former
was pushed ahead, dates clashed and I had no alternative but to opt out.
(Sighs) I was excited about working with Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) again and had
kept six months free post Peekay for the film. We're disappointed we couldn't
sort out the dates, but there is no bitterness between us. Our relationship
goes beyond the usual director-actor one. He has promised me that if I keep
working hard he'll give me another opportunity to work with him soon”.
