Amitabh Bachchan shares throwback childhood pic of Ranbir Kapoor

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most active actors on social media and often keeps sharing old pictures of himself and film personalities from their heydays. The legendary actor yet again rummaged through his collection and picked out an old picture of “the superstar of the day” Ranbir Kapoor when he was a boy.

Amitabh Bachchan shared the throwback photograph in black and white on his Twitter timeline while complimenting the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actor.

“And that wide eyed little fellow is the Superstar of the day today ! Ranbir Kapoor .. !! what an actor !!” the 74-year-old actor wrote with the picture.

The photograph has a young Ranbir looking up at the ‘Pink’ actor who is seen extending a hand towards the boy. Ranbir is seen accompanied by mother Neetu Singh and sister Riddhima. The picture also has Ranbir’s uncle, veteran actor Shashi Kapoor.

Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor and Neetu Singh have worked together in classics, including ‘Deewar’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhie’, which also starred Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor.

Ranbir is currently working on Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt in which he essays the role of the ‘Khalnayak’ actor. He has also wrapped up the much-delayed ‘Jagga Jasoos’ opposite his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Ranbir announced the release date of the Anurag Basu directorial to be on July 14, while speaking at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards.
