Amitabh Bachchan is nervous about singing for ‘TE3N’

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is equally known for his baritone voice as his acting skills. He has sung numerous songs for his films. In March this year he sang the National Anthem at the opening match of T20 World Cup between India and Pakistan in front of a packed stadium at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.

However, Big B seems to be nervous about singing for the forthcoming thriller ‘TE3N’. The 73-year-old actor took to Twitter on Saturday to share his ‘anxiety’ with his fans and followers. “Three weeks to ‘TE3N’. So listen to the song (‘Haq Hai’) out now. But singing one tomorrow for the film. Nervous,” the actor tweeted.

Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to many songs in recent past too like ‘Piddley Si Baatein’ in 2015 film ‘Shamitabh’, ‘Atrangi Yaari’ in his latest movie ‘Wazir’. His songs have been always well received.

‘TE3N’ is a gripping movie set in Kolkata and also stars Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of an aged man John Biswas, grandfather of a child Angela Roy who gets kidnapped. He relentlessly pursues justice for his grand-daughter for eight years.

Nawazuddin plays the role of cop-turned-priest Father Martin who is equally affected by Angela’s kidnapping. His ‘Kahaani’ co-star Vidya plays a police officer named Sarita Sarkar.

Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by ‘Kahaani’ helmer Sujoy Ghosh, ‘TE3N’ is slated to hit screens on June 10. s
