Amitabh and Aamir still at loggerheads

The fracas between two top bollywood stars Amitabh and Aamir began when the latter commented on Amitabh starrer Black. Ever since then Amitabh and Aamir have been embroiled in a war of words. Recently though, Aamir tried to make peace with Amitabh by making a truce call to the latter . Amitabh though seemed in no mood to forgive or talk to Aamir. In fact recently when the two were shooting at the same location, Amitabh avoided Aamir and even waited for Aamir to leave first as he did not wish to bump into him.
Recently Aamir Khan was shooting with a news channel for promoting his upcoming film Taare Zameen Par at a suburban studio and Amitabh too was shooting at the same venue for his film Alladin. Although the two were shooting at the same venue, neither Aamir nor Amitabh made any attempt to meet the other. This comes as a surprise as Aamir had earlier expressed a desire to meet Amitabh and clear out the air. But Amitabh never returned Aamir's call and hence the latter too perhaps is not concerned. In fact Aamir and Amitabh packed up at around the same time, but just as Amitabh was about to leave the set, his spot boy informed him of Aamir's presence outside. Amitabh then decided to wait a bit as he did not want to run into Aamir Khan. Aamir's spokesperson confirmed that he was shooting at the same location as Amitabh but did not meet the latter.

Meanwhile Aamir is busy with the promotion of his upcoming directorial debut, Taare Zameen Par. There has already been quite a bit of controversy surrounding the film as it was earlier supposed to be directed by Amol Gupte . However TZP is a film about dyslexia and it has a special sequence in which Aamir refers to star Abhishek Kapoor. In the sequence Aamir points to a picture of Abhishek and states that even Abhi as a kid had a learning problem but today look at what Abhishek the star has achieved. For this Aamir had even taken permission for Junior Bachchan. Abhishek too confirms this saying "Yes, Aamir had taken permission from us before using my name and photograph in the film."
