I had the monthly girly problem, Ameesha Patel slams Kushal Tandon

Television actor and ‘Bigg Boss 7’ contestant Kushal Tandon had a couple of days ago accused actress Ameesha Patel of insulting the National Anthem by not standing up when it was being played at a theatre.

Kushal had revealed on digital platform that Ameesha was busy looking at her phone and did not stand up even when rest of the people were standing. He also received support from his followers who said that actresses are only about good looks and have no sense of respect for their country.

It seems that Ameesha is miffed with Kushal and abused him and called him an insensitive human being. The ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ actress took to Twitter on Monday and posted a string of tweets citing her reason for not standing up in the theatre. She talked about her ‘girl problem’ being the reason.

“Idiot kushal Tandon had the nerve to tweet that I didn't get up during national anthem. Did the jackass ask why? Women we all need to slap kushal. I had the monthly girly problem. Getting up wud have caused a blood flow on the theatre ground. I waited for the film to start so I cud address my GirLY problem in the bathroom. Didn't know that kushal wud make it a national issue,” the actress’s tweets read.

As if this much was not enough, Ameesha further went on to say that Kushal was doing it for publicity.

“I feel like laughing because no one including me n my friends even recognised him. He needed 2 tweet for publicity. What a jackass. Men like him who have forced a woman 2 speak about her intimate girly problems are jerks .. He is a shame to society. Obviously kushal had no mothers n sisters or any steady girlfriend so he doesn't know when to open his durty mouth n respect girly intimacy. It is disgusting to all women that I had to openly justify a regular problem that women face evry month.. Kushal is an asshole,” Ameesha posted a volley of tweets.

However, Kushal was not one to take things lying down. The actor retorted that he had seen her standing, eating, enjoying and laughing before the movie started.

“I did not realize u were going thru a girl problem since I saw u enjoying, laughing, standing, eating minutes be4 the film started next to the food stal be4 the anthem.

I have a mother, sisters I respect their integrity as much as I respect my country. And As any Indian wud, I too took offense to someone disrespecting the national anthem irrespective of what a big STAR she is. U don’t have to abuse me on Twitter it dsnt suit you...

Thanks for all the personal remarks on me and my career, I only wish u continued success,” Kushal wrote back.
