Alia Bhatt takes a dig at Parineeti Chopra

Actresses can hardly become friends and it has proved time and again in Bollywood when they pass unimpressive remarks against one another. Not only the established actresses of Bollywood involved in a cat-fight but the new Bollywood brigade feels insecure and jealous at times. We are speaking about hardly one film old Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra. During the recent episode of the chat show, ‘Koffee With Karan’, Alia Bhatt took a sweet dig at her colleague and actress Parineeti Chopra.

Alia appears as a guest with her ‘Student of the year’ co-stars Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. When host and filmmaker Karan Johar asked Alia about her insecurities, she candidly replied, "Yes, there are times when you do feel insecure, and I think it’s important for me because then I work harder".

When Karan specifically asked Alia what makes her insecure, she adds, "Parineeti. I think she’s fantastic; she’s so good that I wish I was that good. She’s so effortless and her command over the language is something that I love."

However, Alia made a sarcastic remark about Parineeti when Kjo asked whom she would gift the book, Style for Dummies. "I don’t want to offend anyone but, because I think Parineeti is such a good actor, (but) I think she can do much better in that zone. She has a very pretty face," she says.

Parineeti, instead of attacking back actually took the suggestion in good humour. When contacted, she says, "So true, I need them (styling tips). I’m learning and getting better, though."

The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress in return showered compliment over Alia, saying, "Alia doesn’t need to be insecure at all. She’s a brilliant actress. She’s absolutely effortless in person as well as on screen. I’m a big fan of Alia and I’ve told her this many times."
