Alia Bhatt gifts her driver, helper Rs 50 lakh each for house in Mumbai


Alia Bhatt has showed that she possess a big heart. On her birthday, the ‘Raazi’ actor has gifted her personal helper and driver Rs 50 lakh each for buying houses in Mumbai.

Buying a house in Mumbai has been a costly affair and Alia helped her personal helper Amol and driver Sunil a chques of Rs 50 lakh each. They have been with the since her first film ‘Student of the year’ which released in 2013. Both of them have already booked their own homes in Juhu Gully & Khar Danda region in Mumbai. Alia's gesture has reduced their burden to some extend and she is grateful for them.

Lately, Alia Bhatt hit the headlines for purchasing a posh Juhu home herself. The Rs 13 crore apartment spark fire that it is her love nest and her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor will move with her.

Alia dismissed the reports and said that the property is actually her office space for her new production company. Asked if the house is a ‘love nest’ she said, “Nothing of the sort. It is a place I’ve bought as my office space. Yes, I’ve started my own production house. I’ve named it Eternal Sunshine Productions. Do you like it?”

She added, “Firstly, I bought this home where I live very close to my parent’s home so that I could be close to my parents and sister. I wouldn’t like that to change. Secondly, I built my home brick by brick all my own. Every piece of furniture in the house every knick knack is selected personally by me. This is where I live. This is my home. That won’t change.”
