Alia Bhatt feels she is still too young for the Khans

Alia Bhatt is on a very good run. Her fourth film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ has received critical acclaim and has been doing well at the box office. So far all of her films have received critical/ commercial acclaim and the audience too seems to have taken a liking towards this young starlet.

However all of her films have been with younger stars like Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.  In Bollywood there is like an unwritten rule that to make your place permanent in the industry, you need to work with the Khans (SRK, Salman and Aamir). While Alia is yet to bag a project with any one of these top stars, she is not in a hurry. While the Khan trio is in their late 40’s, Alia is only 21 and she feels that she needs to look a bit mature before working with them.

Recently at an interview she was asked whether she is still too young to work with the likes of Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir. Alia replied, "I am right now definitely (young) because I look small not age wise, age is just a number, but my face. I am just maturing right now - from Student Of The Year till now you can see a difference... So, when I become a little more matured looking, then it can work. But having said that I have done a film with Randeep Hooda, in which I looked too young without make-up, which didn't look bad at all. So if there is a scope or a character and a role like that then it will work."  She was also asked whether she is under pressure to deliver after having such a good start in Bollywood. To that Alia replied, "Yes, I am constantly under pressure because goodness becomes a burden on your shoulders so do the flops. So with every film, no matter how bad or good, there would be pressure."

The youngest daughter of Mahesh Bhatt has said recently that she is not sure when will her father make a film with her. At a TV interview she said, "Dad always says, "I am an extinct volcano” so I don't know how to make him direct a film for me." She also revealed that she now shares a good bond with her step-sister, actor Pooja Bhatt. Alia said, "Recently it has become much better, we have come very close as a family, I have never felt the step sister and step mother emotions, our family is very real with each other, there is no fakeness. We genuinely spend time together."
