Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav gets his first degree black belt in Kudo

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are proud of their son Aarav’s new achievement. Their 13-year-old son has got his first degree black belt in Kudo, a Japanese martial art sport.

Proud father Akshay, who himself is a black belt in Taekwondo, was overjoyed and shared the news with his fans on social media, calling it “the best gift ever.”

The ‘Airlift’ actor posted a picture of Aarav in a fighting pose wearing a blue uniform with a black belt and wrote, “It's a #SonDay all the way! Honestly I can't express my happiness, I've received the best gift ever today.”

“My son started training when he was just four years old. And today, after nine years of hard work he got his 1st degree black belt in Kudo, Okinawa and Goju Ryu Karate Do! Some joys cannot be expressed in words, this one tops the list. But I'm feeling so proud, had to share it with you all #overwhelmed #cantstopsmiling #proudfather,” Akshay wrote on Instagram.

Aarav’s mother Twinkle was also thrilled with her son’s feat and called it the biggest Mothers’ Day gift ever and was happy that “all the years of nagging her son have paid off.”

“The biggest Mother's Day gift! Just got the news from his camp-All the years of nagging have paid off:) #BlackBelt,” the former actress-turned-entrepreneur-cum-columnist wrote on Twitter.
