Akshay Kumar pays medical bill of ailing producer

Akshay Kumar, who is known for his big heart reached out to the first producer of his film Ravi Shrivastava, who needs kidney transplant but unable to do the needful for lack of money. On learning about his condition, Akki soon reached out to him and lend a helping hand.

Kidney transplant cost around 15-17 lakhs. When a follower asked Akshay Kumar about the ailing producer, he replied, “Yes sir, my team has reached out to him...Already taken care of.”

It was Ravi Shrivastava who gave Akki the first break in Hindi cinema. He was the first producer who offered Akki his first movie ‘Dwarpaal’ during his struggling days. The film however shelved and later Shrivastava helped Akshay to get his first break in Hindi cinema with ‘Saugandh’ in 1991.

Now, the producer lives in a very pathetic condition with no money left, homeless and no one to take care of him. His wife passed away long time back and his daughter got married.

Akshay, who is busy shooting for ‘Jolly LLB 2’ got the news and he immediately reached out to him and landed a helping hand.

The producer has 250 movies in his account. Shrivastava has also designed the posters for some famous movies like 'Salman's Biwi Ho To Aisi', 'Teri Meherbaniyan', 'Hukumat', 'Tehelka' and many more.
