Akshay Kumar apologizes for waving the tricolour upside down


The national award winner actor Akshay Kumar tweets an apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolour at WWC17 final being played at Lords.

Akshay Kumar held the tricolour upside down while cheering for the Indian Women's Cricket Team at the Sunday's World Cup Finale. Akshay was so carried away by the moment that he did not realize he was flying the National Flag ulta in the air.

The big goof up came into forefront when Akki tweeted an image of him flying the tricolour from the pavilion in support of the Indian’s women cricket team on his social media account. Sharing the image, the ‘Rustom’ actor tweeted#WomenInBlue we are rooting for you! #WWC17Final #INDvENG (sic)."

No sooner he shared the image, social media users spotted the wrong and Akki is trolled.

Soon realizing his wrong, Akshay Kumar wasted no time to apologize,# Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor.Didn't mean to offend anyone,the picture has been removed

Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting in London for his upcoming film, ‘Gold’ travelled in a train for almost 2 hours to reach Lord’s to cheer for Team India.      

Akshay Kumar was so excited to watch the match India V/S England that he ran barefoot to catch the train from Leeds to London. He did not want to miss the match.
