Ajay Devgn shares his badass look in ‘Baadshaho’ character poster

A day after releasing the first look of ‘Baadshaho’, Ajay Devgn unveiled his character poster of the crime-action thriller. “The badass in the bandana! @Baadshaho,” the actor-filmmaker tweeted while sharing the poster.

The poster has Ajay dressed in a leather jacket and a black shirt underneath with the lower portion of his face covered with a black bandana. His eyes have a menacing look and his hair is dishevelled. He is seen holding guns in both hands and looking sideways.

‘Baadshaho’ is set during the emergency period in 1975. The poster comes with the tagline, ‘1975 EMERGENCY...96 hours...600km...1 Armored Truck...Millions in Gold & 6 BADASSES’ which gives a hint about its plot. The film is said to be inspired by true events and also stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D'Cruz, Lisa Haydon and Esha Gupta.

The movie has been directed by Milan Luthria, who has previously directed Ajay in ‘Kachche Dhaage’, ‘Chori Chori’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’. It is the duo’s fourth film together. It also brings together Ajay and Emraan for the third time after ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ and ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’.

“This is a historical fiction film. We have used some facts, there is lot of stuff that was unusual and exciting. It (Emergency as subject) is a great backdrop for action and thrills. We have done extensive research on the subject,” Milan Luthria was earlier quoted as saying about the film.

‘Baadshaho’ is scheduled to release on September 1.

Ajay is also shooting for Rohit Shetty’s comedy flick ‘Golmaal Again’ which is slated for a Diwali release this year.
