Ajay Devgn ropes in British band The Vamps for ‘Shivaay’ song
Filmmaker-actor Ajay Devgn has roped in UK-based popular teen band The Vamps for recording a song for his upcoming movie ‘Shivaay’.
Sometime back, Ajay had hinted about his association with the teen band by sharing a picture of him and composer Mithoon with the band members on his Twitter page. “Guess where this association is heading?? @TheVampsband @Mithoon11,” he had written with the picture.
On Wednesday, September 7, Ajay confirmed about his collaboration with The Vamps by sharing a sneak-peak video of music director Mithoon's jamming session with the band members on his Twitter handle. “Here's a sneak peak of @Mithoon11 and @TheVampsband jamming for Shivaay,” the ‘Singham’ actor wrote along with the YouTube video.
The video features Mithoon at a studio with James McVey, Tristan Evans, Connor Ball and Brad Simpson, all of who appear to be rehearsing for the soundtrack of Shivaay. Previously, the band featured in a music video, titled ‘Beliya’ with composer duo Vishal-Shekhar.
‘Shivaay’ stars debutante Sayesha Saigal, grandniece of veteran actress Saira Banu, while Polish actress Erika Kaar and British child artiste Abigail Eames will also mark their Bollywood debut with the movie.
The thrilling trailer of ‘Shivaay’ with lots of high-octane action sequences was released in August. The movie is slated to release on October 28 and clash with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which has also released its teaser and the title song.
On the other hand, ‘Shivaay’ hasn’t released a single song yet.
