Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who is shooting in Bulgaria for his upcoming directorial ‘Shivaay’, was recently involved in a life-threatening accident. The action-thriller has some high-octane action sequences and while pulling off a dangerous stunt, Ajay had an accident, but was saved in the nick of time.

It was a high-speed chase scene on a busy street in Sofia. The entire street had been cordoned off and traffic curbs were set up as Ajay was seated on the bonnet of a car for the shooting which also involved several other cars, according to a leading daily.

The report further stated that during one of the takes, a vehicle suddenly entered the shooting area and hit the car on which Ajay was sitting.

“It was a bad crash. Sir was seated on the bonnet and was not prepared for a car to suddenly come driving in, especially because the area was cordoned off. The actor was saved in the nick of time by a crew member. The impact of the car that crashed into the shooting vehicle was so hard, that it got badly damaged. The entire unit was shaken because it was one of those moments that only God could have helped. A slight misjudgement and he could have been hurt. Thank God, that the technical crew was sharp and moved him quickly from the bonnet,” the report quoted a source from the film’s unit as saying.
