Aishwarya unhappy with Karan Johar for skipping her father’s funeral?


Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shares a great bond with filmmaker Karan Johar but when Karan did not turn up for her father Krishnaraj Rai’s funeral, Ash was deeply hurt. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai, passed away on March 18.

Many close friends from the industry turned up to pay their respect to Aishwarya’s father but good friend and filmmaker Karan Johar did not show up.

Aishwarya and Karan shares a great rapport and the former also starred in Karan’s hit film, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

A source close to both Ash and KJo revealed that Ash and Karan’s relationship turned sour after the filmmaker expelled the actress from promoting ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.  

A report in India.com quoted the source as saying, “Post the success of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, KJo reached out to the actress expressing interest in doing another film with her, but she gave him a cold shoulder. They haven’t been on great terms with each other ever since.”

While another source informed that Karan missed Aishwarya’s father funeral because he was busy with his twins, Yash and Roohi, who are born premature and still in the ICU.

“Both the kids have been in the ICU ever since they were born. They are supposed to come home any day now. Karan has been spending most of his free time at the hospital or making arrangements for the kids at home,” a source told the website.
