Aishwarya Rai upset with hubby Abhishek for embracing Vivek Oberoi

According to the latest grapevine, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is upset with husband Abhishek Bachchan for his friendly gesture with her ex-flame Vivek Oberoi. At the recently held felicitation event of badminton champion PV Sindhu in Mumbai, Abhishek Bachchan and his dad Amitabh Bachchan met and hugged Vivek Oberoi. They also exchanged words and all these kind gesture irked Ash, who stills remembers Vivek Obeori’s meme which is made on Vivek, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and her.

A source close to the couple said, "Aishwarya did not appreciate Ahishek's diplomatic hug. She wanted to know why Abhishek had to be so warm to Vivek Oberoi when he could have just said a polite hello and moved on!"

The source also added that Aish will never forgive Vivek for calling a press conference to rebuke Salman Khan's behaviour, "Unlike Salman Khan who never forgave Vivek Oberoi for calling a press conference to condemn Salman's behaviour regarding Aishwarya, Abhishek chose to forget how obnoxious Oberoi can be. Instead Abhishek would rather focus on the positives in life."

During the last Lok Sabha election, Vivek Oberoi posted a meme in which he compared his, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan’s relationship to the exit poll. He compared Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan’s picture with opinion poll, his picture with Aishwarya with exit poll and the final result picture of the happy life of Ash, Abhishek and Aaradhya with the final result.

Following the meme, the ‘Saathiya’ actor drew lots of flak. He later deleted it and also issued an apology.

He wrote in his apology, "Sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, I cant even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever."

He also tweeted, "Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies. tweet deleted."

Following his tweet, the national commission for woman has sent legal notice to the actor for posting such derogatory tweet. Director Maher Bhandarkar and actress Sonam Kapoor also slammed Vivek for his unpleasant tweet.
