Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj admitted in ICU

The condition of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai has turned critical and he was shifted to the ICU. Mr Rai has been admitted to Mumbai Lilavati hospital for the last two weeks. Last night, Aishwarya was seen with her husband Abhishek Bachchan exiting the hospital together. When the couple was spotted together outside the hospital, it led to a lot of speculation. But the actor’s spokesperson clarified the situation.

A source has been quoted as saying, "Yes he (Krishnaraj Rai) has been in the hospital for nearly two weeks. Aishwarya is taking care of him despite her being alone as Abhishek was in New York for work. He just got back. Recently at Aaradhya’s sports day, Aishwarya was seen cheering for the kids and her own daughter too. But simultaneously she was also keeping a tab on her dad’s health."

Aishwarya has been constantly by her father’s side. As Abhi was in New York for work, Ash has been managing both her ailing father and daughter Aaradhya all alone.

On the work front, Aishwarya, who was last seen in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teamed up with her husband Abhishek Bachchan for Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gulab Jamun’. They have earlier worked in films like ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’, ‘Guru’, ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’.

We wish Krishnaraj Rai a speedy recovery!
