Aishwarya Rai Bachchan speaks about her second child

Former beauty queen and Bollywood actress and now the mother of a little angel Aaradhya, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan told the reporter at an event not to speculate about second child. She added if such important moment comes, she will make it known to all. But as of now, she is enjoying her motherhood to the fullest and there is no plan of second child.

The actress was present at an event to announce her association with a stem cell banking brand. When media asked Ash if she will opt for stem cell banking a second time, Aishwarya said: "I know what are you trying to ask. Whenever such a moment comes, you all will get to know. But please don`t speculate till then."

Aishwarya and Abhishek opted for banking stem cells of Aaradhya when she was born and Ash made an appeal to all the parents to bank the stem cells of their child when they are born if they can afford rather than spending in other luxury items.

"I was aware about stem cell banking as a development probably out of my interest in the medical field as most of my friends are doctors. I have been aware of this way before I got married. I was always fascinated by it. Any research and development in general let alone in science and healthcare has always been of interest to me," she said.

"The beauty of this association fulfils the wish of social encouragement. It is addressing a mindset that is fairly new to our country at large. I am happy to contribute, educate and make people aware about this scientific development," she added.

Aishwarya was speaking at the event of Life Cell, a biotechnology company. She added the process has become much cheaper now-a-days and they urged the parents to opt for it.

"Families and friends can come together to make this gift possible in a parent`s life. We traditionally buy so many things for expecting parents," the 39-year-old said here at the launch of the initiative Monday.

"So family and friends can come together to pursue this possibility in expectant parents lives and make that the perfect gift for the child coming into this life," she added.

Aishwarya revealed that even she and husband Abhishek opted for stem cell banking when their daughter Aaradhya was born.

"I had always banked that thought even before I got married. At that point of time we were contacted by a lot of companies and closer to the date we interacted extensively with Life Cell. Once were convinced we went ahead with the decision to bank with Life Cell," Aishwarya said.

Aishwarya urges expecting parents to look at it as a sensible investment.

"To those who can afford it, we really look at a lot of expenses. A lot of indulgences are so easily spent upon that somehow this thereby seems like a sensible investment," Aishwarya said.

Aishwarya said that motherhood is a blessing for her.

"Change is constant in life. Every experience contributes to change and growth, making you hopefully a better human being. Becoming a mother has been a blessing and I cherish this gift from god," Aishwarya said.

"Aaradhya (her daughter) is a wonderful blessing in our lives and she is very special and it is a loving fulfillment. I am grateful for this experience," she said.
