Aishwarya cries on last day of ‘Jazbaa’ shoot; Sanjay Dutt drops by

The last day of shoot of the upcoming film ‘Jazbaa’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan was emotionally charged. Director Sanjay Gupta called it a “beautiful journey” and shared a picture of him with the leading movie’s lady, on Twitter.

“ARB, Mickey & me after the last shot of #JAZBAA today. The end of one part of our beautiful journey,” he posted on the micro-blogging site o September 11.

Aishwarya’s eyes welled up on the sets and she couldn’t hold back her tears as she embraced her favourite make-up artist Mickey Contractor. An equally emotional Mickey shared a picture of them on Instagram and captioned, “Woooooooooh!!!! Jazbaa shoot is finally over!!!! Cheers!!!!”    

Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter to announced the end of ‘Jazbaa’ shoot. “CALL SHEET for the last day of #JAZBAA says 'Day 51'. We planned, promised & delivered in precisely 51 days. Hats off to you @Nadeem_Shah,” he posted.

The ‘Shootout at Wadala’ director also requested Mickey not to make him ‘soppy eyed’: “Don't make me soppy eyed Mickey. It's never over. We just wrapped the first. You still have to bear a lot of me.”

Sanjay Dutt who worked with the director in ‘Kaante’, ‘Khauff’, ‘Zinda’ and other films, visited the sets and brought the much-need cheer as the shooting wrapped up. The actor who is serving his sentence in Pune’s Yerwada Jail, is currently on parole for his daughter’s nose surgery.

Sanjay Gupta specially invited the ‘Munna Bhai’ actor. In a series of tweets, he shared about the actor’s visit.

“Today on the last day of ARB's shoot we had the most special visitor on set who I requested personally to come & wish us. @duttsanjay”

“What an emotional moment for ARB, Ahmad Khan, Baadshaah, me & my entire crew today when Sanju dropped by to wish us all the best.”

“Sanju was in town & I requested him to drop by our sets on his way back. He obliged & the whole crew went berserk. TRUE SUPERSTAR TRUE BRO.”

Aishwarya and Sanjay Dutt had worked together in ‘Hum Kisise Kum Nahin’ (2002) which also starred Amitabh Bachchan, and ‘Shabd’ (2005).

Micky also Instagrammed a photograph of him with the actor and wrote, “Guess who came visiting today? old memories came rushing back leaving me totally overwhelmed!! (love) you Sanju.”

Aishwarya’s co-star in ‘Jazbaa’ Irrfan Khan was however, not present as he is reportedly in Canada for a film festival. The movie also stars Jackie Shroff and Shabana Azmi and is set to hit theatres on October 9.
