Aishwarya chooses family over hubby Abhishek


Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won’t be joining husband and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Happy New Year’ premiere to be held in Dubai. Instead, she has chosen to stay back with the Bachchan parivaar at ‘Jalsa’ and take part in the diwali celebration. ‘Happy New Year’ release date clashes with Diwali on 23rd October and all the casts of the film is heading to Dubai for the film premiere.

For Ash family comes first for her and she has decided to skip the ‘Happy New Year’ premiere night in Dubai to take part in the Diwali celebration. All know Diwali is celebrated with great delight at the Bachchan household every year and many film fraternities head to ‘Jalsa’ to celebrate Diwali.

As Abhishek won’t be able to take part in the family celebration, Ash would represent her husband in the rituals to take place in the house.

Sharing the details about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not accompanying Abhishek at ‘Happy New Year’ premiere, a source revealed, “The Dubai premiere clashes with Diwali on October 23. Everybody knows Diwali is celebrated with great gusto in the Bachchan household every year. It’s an open-house at the Bachchans’ residence Jalsa for Diwali each year with the entire entertainment industry dropping in through the evening and night. Abhishek cannot be at home for Diwali because he must attend the Dubai premiere of ‘Happy New Year’. Aishwarya has decided to opt out of this big moment from her husband’s life so that one of the couple could represent both at the Diwali celebration at Jalsa.”

Meanwhile, it’s not only Abhishek but superstar Shahrukh Khan along with their entire star cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Farah Khan would miss the Diwali celebration with their respective families as they would be heading to Dubai for the grand premiere.
