After Oscars, Priyanka Chopra to present at the Emmy Awards

Bollywood’s International actress Priyanka Chopra is set to present a trophy at the 68th Emmy Awards. The first group of presenters for the television awards was announced recently.

An excited Priyanka took to her Twitter handle to share her happiness over the news and wrote, “This should be such a fun evening... And the search for the perfect dress begins. #Emmys.”

Earlier this year, the ‘Quantico’ actress also the red carpet at the 88th Oscar Awards. She dazzled in a white embellished strapless gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. Priyanka, along with Hollywood star Liev Schreiber presented the prestigious award in the Best Film Editing category to 'Mad Max: Fury Road'.  

Besides, Priyanka, the Emmy Awards presenters’ list also includes another Indian-American actor Aziz Ansari. Liev Schreiber, Taraji P. Henson, Anthony Anderson, James Corden, Larry David, Kristen Bell, Randall Park, Andy Samberg and Michael Weatherly are the other names who will take the stage as presenters.

The awards ceremony will be held on September 18 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. The event will be aired live on ABC channel. The ceremony will also be aired in India simultaneously via Star English network.

Priyanka is currently in New York shooting for the second season of her hit TV series ‘Quantico’. She will also appear as a celebrity judge in an episode of reality series ‘Project Runway’ on September 15. The show is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

Priyanka will be seen in the negative role of Victoria Leeds in her debut Hollywood film ‘Baywatch’ which also stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach among others. Directed by Seth Gordon, the movie based on the hit TV series of the same name, is set to release on May 19, 2017.
