AbRam is like a toy that you want to own, says Karan Johar
Filmmaker Karan Johar has been making headlines due to the revelations in his biography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’. After opening up on his sexuality and divulging details about his rift with Kajol, Karan has now talked about his parental feelings for a star kid, who already has a huge fan-following.
The star kid is none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s little munchkin AbRam, who is the apple of everyone’s eyes, including the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director’s.
“I have that the maternal and paternal feeling – I feel it for Gauri and SRK’s kids. I go to Gauri’s house now to play with AbRam. Even if Gauri is not there, I go and sit for him. And he comes and spends time with my mum all the time. My mum loves him,” Karan said in his book jointly penned by him and Poonam Saxena.
Karan added, “He is like a toy that you want to own. He came to the office the other day and the entire staff came out to see him. Everyone was behaving as if Brad Pitt had arrived. He was delighted with all the attention."
The excerpt of the yet-to-release book was published by The Times of India, in which Karan dropped broad hints about his sexual orientation saying he will “spell it out” as he lives in a country where I could possibly be jailed for saying this. In another excerpt shared on Twitter, the filmmaker revealed that he doesn’t consider Kajol a friend anymore. “…I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore,” the excerpt read.
