Here, Abhishek talks about his anxieties surrounding his first international show and more
This will be your first international performance. How do you feel?
I am definitely excited but I am nervous too. After all, I will be performing before fans from across the world. There will be those watching us on television, as well as a huge live audience. I am really looking forward to my first international performance.

Which songs will you be performing to?
I don’t know yet. We are just finalising things. Shiamak Davar is going to choreograph the songs. I am sure he has amazing plans for me, as well as my colleagues from the industry who will be performing on the IIFA Awards stage.

Why did you chose IFFA for your international performance debut?
I think the IIFA awards has proven to be a very credible and spectacular event that has been celebrating Indian cinema across the globe.
Wizcraft, the organiser, has given the industry a wonderful opportunity to interact with fans across the world. Also, this is the only credible awards as the industry votes for the best talent. It’s an honour for me to perform on this stage. I am looking forward to Amsterdam and all the IIFA excitement.

You have been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for Yuva. Are you expecting to win?
It is an honour to be nominated but I don’t think I will win. My father too has been nominated in this category and I hope he wins because he most definitely has my vote.
