Abhi-Ash wedding celebrations from 18-20 April with family and close friends
After continuous speculations about the wedding date of one of the hottest couple in bollywood, Ash-Abhi, it seems like a date has finally been set for the 20th April. The festivities like the haldi, sangeet ceremony etc will supposedly begin from 18th April onwards. Preparations are already underway and both the Bachchans and the Rai family are equally excited about the forthcoming wedding. However due to the illness of Amitabh’s mother Teji Bachchan, the affair will be a close family knit one.
Amitabh Bachchan too has confirmed that the wedding of Ash-Abhi will be a low key affair; he says “It’s a private personal affair. My mother is seriously unwell and hence it would not be right to have any kind of celebrations. People would understand our sentiments.” However the Rai family has already begun preparations, Ash’s mom Brinda has already made personal calls to close family and friends to invite them for the wedding. The mehendi, haldi and sangeet ceremonies will be held at Ash’s home while the main ceremony will be held at the Bachchan’s old bungalow Prateeksha. The guests will no doubt include some high profile people although the media will perhaps be definitely barred from the event.
According to sources, the couple will also not go on a honeymoon as they both have several pending film assignments and also due to Abhishek’s grandmother’s illness. Recently though prior to the upcoming wedding day, the very much in love couple, Ash-Abhi are trying to spend maximum quality time together. Abhishek was recently shooting a song at ND studios in Karjat, the same location where Ash is shooting for Jodha-Akbar. Hence the two decided to spend some time together. Abhishek waited for Ash and had lunch with his better half. He also got homemade vegetarian food for Ash as she is fasting during Navaratri. The couple would also be lost in one another and laugh and giggle like young teenagers on the sets. Abhi was friendly towards everyone, but it was clearly evident that he wanted to spend maximum time with Ash. Well the wedding of one the hottest bollywood couples will finally take place and congratulations to them!
