ABCD 2: Varun and Shraddha plan for an India tour to boost young dancers

The Team of dance-based film ABCD 2 has decided to undertake a tour of India in an attempt to encourage and boost young dancers and artistes.

‘ABCD2’ is connected to Mumbai and the whole country. The film is about how boys and girls from backstreets are nurtured as dancers to makes India’s first dance team which participates in an international dance competition, Varun Dhawan said on the sets of a singing reality show.

“So, we are planning to go to different places and reach out to the people and kids, who want to do something in their life in their respective talents and art. We want to reach them and discuss how we can help them out” he added.

ABCD 2 is a sequel to Remo D’Souza’s 2013 film ABCD - AnyBody Can Dance.

Varun and Shraddha Kapoor, the lead cast of the film, who were at the sets of Indian Idol Junior 2 to promote their film, added that sequel has an important message to give.

“I know it is a very commercial film and will be talked about from the money point of view only, but Remo D’Souza has not made this film with that thought,” said the actor.

“He genuinely wants that whoever watches the film should feel that anybody can dance. We are trying to give an important message through this film - ‘dance to express and not to impress’,” the ‘Main Tera Hero’ actor added.

Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film is slated to release on June 19. It also stars choreographer Prabhudheva and American dancer Lauren Gottlieb.
