Aaradhya “off limits” for public, says Abhishek

Abhishek Bachchan who was furious at a troll for posting a meme of his daughter Aaradhya targeting him last month said his daughter is “off limits” for public.

The actor who otherwise used to ignore ugly remarks about him and his film on the social media lashed out at a random Twitter user Mayank Tiwari when the latter posted a meme of the child making fun of Abhishek’s films.

The ‘Raavan’ actor admonished the troll and wrote, “Don't like my movies? That's cool. Will work harder to make movies you like. Bringing my daughter into it is NOT cool.” The actor’s fans also joined him in bashing the troll who ultimately removed the meme and apologised.

Talking to reporters at the trailer launch of his film ‘All Is Well’, Abhishek said, “My family is strictly off limits. I do understand that my parents and my wife are public figures, but my daughter is strictly off limits. I'm not here to talk about her. Nor do I appreciate anyone making detrimental comments about her.”

However, Abhishek is not against any constructive criticisms that users post on the social networking sites and he gladly takes them in his stride.

"If you are on a public platform, you have to be ready for the brickbats and the bouquets. I always take feedback in my stride and if they make any negative comments, I definitely take notice of it to see how I can improve myself.

"If you're on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, these things are going to happen and it's healthy, fine and fun most of the times," he added.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, ‘All Is Well’ is a family drama which also features Rishi Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Asin and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.

The film is slated to hit screens on August 21.
