Aamir uses Shah Rukh’s dialogue to woo a girl, but fails

Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan may have admitted maintaining a cordial relationship, but they are industry rivals and not fast friends. Both the actors also stay away from getting involved in any sort of squabble.

But now, Aamir had borrowed one of the very popular and memorable dialogues of his contemporary Shah Rukh to impress and win over a girl, but failed. Perhaps, only Shah Rukh can work the magic of his dialogues.

The ‘PK’ star who is the brand ambassador of online merchandise Snapdeal has unveiled a new promotional campaign for the company. Aamir is seen spoofing Shah Rukh dialogue ‘palat, palat’ from the actor’s iconic romantic film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.

In the ad, Aamir is seen surrounded by a few men who praise his ‘shayari’ using the dialogue which he recites to woo a girl. But interestingly, the girl in question is a mannequin. The ad also mentions that it is Snapdeal Ultimate Monday on November 2, which is incidentally Shah Rukh’s 50th birthday.

The commercial is undoubtedly very interesting as it shows that a girl is so engrossed with her mobile phone that she doesn’t respond to the popular dialogue, which means that there ought to be something attractive in her phone. But for this Aamir depicts that the dialogue no longer has its effect on women.

While, Aamir might have been possibly paying a tribute to the supurstar, Shah Rukh, being a humble person that he is, will surely take it sportingly and laugh it off.
