Watch: Aamir Khan launches ‘Satyamev Jayate 3’ trailer

During the last two seasons the Aamir Khan hosted social issue based reality show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ has become one of the most talked about shows in the country. Now a third season will be hitting the air waves soon. The promos are also ready for release. The makers and the channel that airs the show have decided this time to launch the promo on Twitter first.

Before any other platform, viewers will be able to see the promo on Twitter. The show has become a very popular topic of discussion in the social media and hence this decision was taken. Star Plus channel will also give its viewers a chance of unlocking the promo video on Twitter by generating a number of tweets. Gayatri Yadav of Star Plus described ‘Satyamev Jayate’ as a people’s brand. She said, "This is our way of engaging our digital audience and involving them in conversations for the show at the outset of breaking the campaign. We are happy to partner with Twitter for 'Tweet To Unlock' and making this an exciting activity,"

As per reports, Aamir Khan who has become synonymous with the show has invited some of his Bollywood colleagues like Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra and Kangana Ranaut to be a part of the upcoming season which focuses on women empowerment. Although Aamir confirmed the involvement of celebrities he did not reveal any names. At a press conference which was organized to announce the show’s third season, he said, "There will be some celebrities on the show this time. There will be top stars from the industry for some episodes. They are there on the show not because they are celebrities but they are related to the issue...they will be contributing for the show."

At the press conference Aamir also said that his acceptance as the host of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ has become greater than his appeal as an actor. He said, "People don't look at me as an actor alone. I remember when I was shooting for 'PK' in Rajasthan the media there did not ask any questions about Dhoom 3, which was about to release. They did not even ask me why I was in Rajasthan... they asked me only about Satyamev Jayate…That time I realised they (media) don't have interest in my film career and time has come for me to retire. This makes me realise that people don't look at me as an actor alone. Through my profession I touch people's heart through stories. And using this (the show), I try to bring change in society."
