Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira promotes ‘Dangal’ in a quirky way

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira usually avoids the arch lights, but she has come forward to promote her dad’s much-awaited film ‘Dangal’, which is days away from hitting the screens. Ira was spotted promoting the sports drama in a very unique and quirky way with a T-shirt message.

She was seen wearing a tee printed with the lyrics of the films song ‘Haanikara Bapu’, which has become popular. The T-shirt quote read, ‘Baapu Sehat Ke Liye Tu To Haanikaarak Hai’. Not only this, Ira also got some of her friends to sport the T-shirts and pose in them.

Aamir took to his Twitter handle and shared a couple of pictures of Ira and her friends posing and promoting ‘Dangal’ with their tees. With the pictures, the actor wrote, “Look what my daughter and her friends are up to! Thank you Ira!!! Wait till you meet the real Mahaveer!”

Ira is Aamir's second child by his first wife Reena Dutta. The actor also has a son Junaid by Reena.

It is quite an ingenious way of promoting the film!

‘Dangal’ is a biopic on former Haryanvi wrestler Mahaveer Singh Phogat, who trained his daughters Geeta and Babita to become world class wrestlers and win medals for the country.

Aamir plays the role of Mahaveer, while Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra enact the roles of Geeta and Babita respectively. Sakshi Tanwar plays the role of Mahaveer’s wife and Geeta and Babita’s mother.

Directed by Nitish Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ is all set to release on December 23.
