Aamir, Deepika, Shahid win the 6th Golden Kela Awards

The 6th Golden Kela Awards had been handed over to the worst in every department of filmmaking ranging from worst performances to worst music. The trophy was handed to the worst actors for their awful performances. This time perfectionist Aamir Khan, reigning queen Deepika Padukone and splendid actor Shahid Kapoor was awarded the Golden Kela Awards, 2014.

The worst film award went to Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’ and Ajay Devgn won the worst actor for this film while Sonakshi Sinha won the worst actress award for ‘R..Rajkumar’. Shahid Kapor got the Why Are You Still Trying award for R…Rajkumar.

The worst director award went to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela-Ram Leela’ while Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel jointly won the worst supporting actor (Female) award for Race 2. The worst supporting actor (Male) award went to Aditya Roy Kapoor for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Aamir Khan received a special category of award – titled Baawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke Award – for ‘Dhoom 3 while tennis star Leander Paes was ‘honoured’ with the Worst Debut of the Year award for Rajdhani Express.

‘Party All Night’ won the most irritation song of 2013 from the film ‘Boss’ starring  Akshay Kumar, while the Most Atrocious Lyrics award was given to veteran lyricist Sameer for Raghupati Raghav for 'Krrish 3'.

The organisers also gave away the Anti-Kela Awards to films from Bollywood they liked. Three films are the winners this year which include 'Go Goa Gone', 'Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns', and ‘The Lunchbox’.

"In Bollywood today, the box office figures have no correlation to the quality of the film. Our sincerest hope is that 10 years down the line, the figures will be forgotten, while the `Kelas` they got are remembered,” Anant Singh, creative head, Golden Kela Awards, said in a statement. 

The Golden Kela Award show is inspired from the concept the `Razzies` of Hollywood.
