A biography on Sanjay Dutt's problematic life

If there's one person in the film industry who can look back on his life with anger, grief, bitterness and ultimately some satisfaction, it's Sanjay Dutt. And good friend Sanjay Gupta is planning a three-volume biography, which would leave no aspect of the actor's life uncovered.

"It's time our big stars had their stories written down. We at White Feather hope to start a new movement towards star biographies," Sanjay's long-time buddy Sanjay Gupta told IANS.

"What a life and what a story it would make! There's too much to be compressed into a three-hour movie. Only a book format can do justice to Sanju's story," he added.

The "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" star, who has been sentenced to six years' imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, is currently in Pune's Yerawada jail.

The biography will be written by a professional writer while Gupta and Sanjay's joint production house White Feather will produce what will hopefully be the ultimate 'Dutt' story.

"We have zeroed in on two-three writers for the project. It's an idea that was just waiting to be executed. From his naughty childhood to troubled teens to his fight with drugs to his long legal battle, we have to cover it all."

Recently, Sanjay's sisters - Namrata Kumar and Priya Dutt - released a book on their parents titled "Mr. and Mrs. Dutt: Memories of Our Parents"
