11-yr-old Swati Nitya wins ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’


11-year-old Swasti Nitya from Bhagalpur, Bihar won the second season of children's acting talent hunt show ‘India's Best Dramebaaz’. Swati entertained the audience and won the heart of the judges with her versatile performance.

Apart from the ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ title, Swati also walked away with a cheque of Rs five Lakh. ”It is like a dream come true for me to perform on the stage of ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ and emerge as a winner of the Season 2. I gave my best to each performance on the stage,” Swasti said in a statement here.

"Judges and audiences have been very supportive. My mentors have worked hard on me throughout the season in overall grooming to make me a well-rounded, versatile actor," she added. The evening saw some sizzling performance by Kapil Sharma and singer Mika Singh 

The grand finale on Sunday night brought an end to the month long versatile performances of 16 contestants. Over the weeks, the child artistes entertained the audience, viewers and judges with their performances.

After the win, Swasti said that she was very happy and it was the most memorable moment for her in the show when her name was announced as the winner. She was equally elated that her family had come down from Bihar to attend the finale. 

The girl from Bihar has been acting in plays from the age of 4. Aired on Zee TV, 'India's Best Dramebaaz' was judged by Vivek Oberoi, Sonali Bendre and Sajid Khan.
